When planning your trip, we look at the weather patterns and seasonal conditions across the island. We aim to take you to the areas with the best chance of dry, pleasant weather during your travel dates, rather than following the same route all year round.

We also consider wildlife movements and seasonal migrations. For example, depending on the time of year, certain national parks may have higher concentrations of elephants or other wildlife because animals naturally move between areas in search of water and food.

From December to April, the West and South Coasts are generally more suitable for beach and coastal travel, while the East Coast is usually at its best from May to September.

The Cultural Triangle and Central Highlands can be visited throughout the year, although conditions vary depending on the season.

Most travellers need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter Sri Lanka for tourism.

Visa fees and requirements depend on your nationality. Citizens of certain countries are currently eligible for a free tourist ETA for up to 30 days, while other nationalities are subject to the applicable visa fee.

Yes. Our trips are designed to include everything you need for your journey, including your boutique 4 and 5-star accommodation, private driver and transport, and all the activities and experiences included in your itinerary.

There are only a few activities where entrance fees are managed directly by a public or government-run organisation, so payment has to be made directly to them. We clearly indicate these in your itinerary, and they are always optional.

Everything is clearly explained in your personalised itinerary and quote before you book, so you know exactly what is included and there are no unexpected costs along the way.

Once we know your travel dates and what you’re looking for, we’ll create a complete day-by-day itinerary and personalised quote for you. We can make as many changes as you need until everything feels right for you.

Once you’re happy with the itinerary, we hold the proposed hotel reservations for 10 days, so you have time to make your decision while keeping the quoted price. We’ll then share the hotel names with you and confirm that everything is available before you book.

You’ll receive a detailed invoice with everything included in your trip, including your accommodation, transport and activities. To confirm your booking, you’ll normally pay 50% by bank transfer or Paypal to secure the hotels and arrangements, with the remaining 50% payable on arrival in Sri Lanka. Payment terms can be adjusted depending on the circumstances of each trip.

Once your trip is confirmed, we create a WhatsApp group with you and our team. Before you travel, we’ll share everything you need to know, including arrival information, useful tips and recommendations.

And once you arrive, we stay with you throughout the entire journey. You’ll have direct access to our team 24/7 through the group, and we’re there to help with anything you need during your trip.

What you need to pack depends on the time of year you’re travelling and the places included in your itinerary, as Sri Lanka has different climates across the island.

We’ll always give you practical recommendations based on your specific trip, but in general we recommend bringing lightweight, comfortable clothes, swimwear, comfortable shoes, sun protection and a light rain jacket.

If you’re visiting the hill country, temperatures can be much cooler, especially in the evenings, so we recommend bringing a warmer layer.

If your itinerary includes hiking, safaris, beaches or visits to temples, we’ll also let you know what you’ll need for those experiences.

Once your trip is confirmed, we’ll share all the practical tips you need to prepare, so you don’t have to figure everything out on your own.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your trip, just let us know as soon as possible. We always do our best to help and, whenever possible, recover and return any payments that can be refunded.

Refunds depend on the cancellation policies of the hotels and other services booked for your trip, but in the case of justified cancellations, we will always do everything we can to find the best possible solution for you.

If you need to make a change to your travel dates, we’ll also work with our hotels and suppliers to see what can be adjusted and help you reschedule your trip whenever possible.
